Harris Teeter Triple Coupons 5/30/08

What a great month! Harris Teeter has offered "triple Q's" twice this month!

Harris Teeter allows only 20 coupons to be tripled per day, per VIC card so Mike and I have our own separate VIC cards enabling us to do two separate transactions.

Today's trip:
$214 value - $132 in Qs & VIC savings
= $82 out-of-pocket
for a total 62% savings

This includes a $5/$25 e-VIC coupon I received this week.
You can sign up here.

Here are the items purchased using triple coupons:

1- Velveeta Shells & Cheese cup
3 - Easy Mac & Cheese cups
2 - Lipton 24 ct. Family Size Tea Bags
2 - Oscar Mayer Deli Creations Sandwiches
4 - Mahatma Yellow Rice
1 - Claussen Sandwich Sliced Pickles (a splurge!)
2 - Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Cold Cuts
1 - Magic Eraser 2pk.
2 - Keebler cookies
2 - Suave Antiperspirant/Deodorant
5 - Duke's Mayo 18oz. squeeze bottle
2 - Dawn dish detergent
1 - McCormick Lemon Pepper (I love this on my veggies!)
3 - French's Yellow Mustard (40% more bonus bottles)
4 - Tabasco sauce1 - Capri Sun Sunrise 10pk.
3 - Sargento sliced cheese packs
4 - Dole mandarin oranges
1 - Grande Tortilla Chips
1 - Daisy sour cream 32 oz.
1 - Wishbone Robusto Italian 8 oz.
1 - Ortega refried beans
1 - Ortega taco seasoning mix

We also picked up two Wacky Mac pasta ($.79 - $.75 Q) and four Oscar Mayer thick sliced bacon ($2.49 - $1/2 Q).

The salmon ($9) and mussels ($4.99) are for a special Sunday supper.
Since our daughter loves fresh fruit, we couldn't pass up the deals on strawberries ($1.49/lb.) and oranges ($3.99/3lb.).

Milk is less expensive ($2.99) at Harris Teeter than at Food Lion ($3.29) (where we usually shop), so we picked up two gallons to tide us over until early next week. Thomas' English Muffins were BOGO @ $3.39 so we restocked by buying four packages for $6.78.

Now that we have three cats in the house, we are constantly looking for good deals on cat food and kitty litter. Using a $1 off coupon for Nine Lives Dry Cat Food 3.15 lb. ($4.99) and taking advantage of the BOGO sale on 21 lb. boxes of Fresh Step kitty litter ($11.69 for two boxes), we were able to restock our cat food and kitty litter.

Great Job! Glad you found our site. I was suprised to read that Food Lion is your usual store. Is that due to convienance? I use to shop at Food Lion too, but I have found that I find much better deals at Kroger and Harris Teeter. Hope to run into you soon!
